Not only that, but there are several other benefits to blog commenting that just can’t be measured in numbers. You can build relationships and credibility for your online business, as well. There are several keys to making sure this strategy works for you.

Blog commenting will not guarantee you traffic UNLESS you do it right.

So What Is Blog Commenting?

Blog commenting is the process of joining the conversation on blogs, instead of using email or popular social networks.

Why Do I Want To Comment On Blogs?

There are 4 reason why you want to comment on blogs.

  • Traffic Generation
  • Backlinks
  • Gaining Authority
  • Repeat Visitors

Basically, You can comment on specific blogs to grow you brand and also get free back links pointing to your product site, affiliate program or personal web site. This is one the strategy that many internet marketer use to to get more back links and get more traffic to their sites.

Strategies on Blog Commenting

1. Find A Popular, Target Blog

Before commenting, you need to know exactly where to comment. Your blog commenting must be on a blog that is relevant to the audience you want to lead into your website. For example, if you are promoting your marketing online business, don’t comment on blogs about cartoons and superheroes. This is not relevant to your subject and is not an effective blog commenting strateBlog commentinggy.

2. Search for DoFollow Blogs

The reason why you commenting on other peoples blog was because you want backlink right? So if you want to take SEO advantange then you should look for the DoFollow blogs that are ready to accept your comment. Blogs that do not allow links are known as “nofollow” blogs. “Nofollow” is a type of value that tells search engines not to consider hyperlinks when evaluating the target’s ranking for searches. This is intended to stop the effectiveness of some types of search engine spam. Blog commenting relies on being highly ranked by search engines, so this is definitely an obstacle to overcome.

Here are some ways that you can find out whether a blog is a “No Follow” or a “Do Follow” blog.

  • 1. YOu can download SEO Quake This will let you know the blog you want to comment on is a “dofollow”
  • 2. CommentLuv Plugins  when you  do your blog commenting on a Commentluv site, you can create a stronger backlink by using keyword name, and you can make some serious use of it when linking back to your blog. That is, you can show up as name@keyword.

3.Try To Be the First

Although it is hard to be the first commentator, but you do need to be the first commentator for a blog post.   This will definitely improve the chances of your comment being read. This is important specially if your blog that you’re commenting on, received lots of other comments.

4.  Show Your Face

You need to remember there is more to just Blog Commenting than just putting your backlink and dissepeared.

If leaving a comment is one of the strategies to be come more recognizable, or to draw more attention  to your blog, then you really need to be recognizable, by having your picture next to your comment. if you are looking to build trust then you will need to appear as a real person, rather than some nameless and faceless entity.  You should always use a Gravatar.

 5. Ping Your Blog Comment

I am not sure if you know what Pingin is, but here’s to refresh your memory.

Pinging is equivalent is saying Hey! Over here – check this out!” to search engines and directories whenever you add or make major updates to the content on your site.

You should also Ping your content manually using services like Pingler.net, Pingoat.net, and Pingomatic.com (there are many others, of course, but these are the ones I use).

So what does it have to do with your Blog comments?

Well, when you’re pinging your comment using the services I mentioned above will  increase the chance that a search engine bot crawls your comment MUCH sooner than it would otherwise, thus discovering your link and attributing it to your site.

 6. User Blogger’s Name

To show respect and attention to details, you Always..Always use the Blogger’s name when commenting.

and Secondly, it might prevent your comment to emerge from the span folder

Don’t be afraid to check up on the comments you have made in the past, either. Blog owners appreciate those who return and participate in a discussion. If someone has made a comment under yours, you will want to respond to them and sincerely participate. Guess what? Blog owners will love you for creating excitement and interest in their posts. They know that other visitors will want to respond to continue the conversation. By building relationships in this way, blog commenting can help you lead traffic to your online business website and market yourself better to the world wide web.

Don’t ignore the huge benefits of blog commenting. It can help you seem authoritative on your online business subject, connect you to a wider community, make you seem a lot more credible, and get you some traffic. Just like in your non-web marketing business, if you don’t get out an hustle with techniques like blog commenting, no one will ever hear your message.  You wouldn’t just sit in your office and wait for people to come to you: don’t just sit at your blog!

Question?

So, Will these tips help you to become a better commenter or are they more likely to deem you as a spammer?
