Do you know how some things you were told as a child tend to come back to you as an adult? Perhaps something that your parents or a teacher, or someone else you respected told you rings in your mind.
For me, that is definitely the case. I am very fortunate to have had parents with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. I always remember my father telling me that in order to become truly successful, you have to be your own boss, to take charge of your own future.

Hi, my name is Easther Sudharta. Welcome to my website.
Many people who visit my site are in the process of looking for a way to become their own boss, to build their own enterprise and start living their life by design. I know, because it was not so long ago that I was in the same position.
In fact, you just may relate to some aspects of my story.
I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, the eldest child in my family. I also have a younger brother. My father was a very astute businessman, who had an incredible drive to operate his own business.
So our family moved to Australia in 1984, and my parents bought a metal stamping factory in Melbourne.
I had a wonderful childhood, and my parents worked hard to provide the best life and education that they could for us here in Australia.

Their dedication to our family and the business made a huge impression on me, and gave me a strong sense of what is required to build a business and grow it over the long term. And it also instilled in me an overwhelming desire to become an entrepreneur.
When I finished High School, I went on to study Computer Science at Monash University in Melbourne. I completed my Bachelor degree and have worked in the Corporate world ever since. Right now, I am an IT Audit coordinator for Hewlett Packard.
I quite enjoy what I do, but the urge to be my own boss only grew stronger as I realized how restrictive it is to work for someone else, and at the end of the day, how insecure jobs are. I mean, if someone can give you a job, they can also take it away from you, right?
Like so many people do, I looked to the MLM and Network Marketing industries as an option to go into business for myself. For over five years, I tried my hand in some of the larger and better-known companies with little success.

And to be perfectly honest with you, deep down I knew that the “marketing methods” I was being taught were old fashioned, ineffective, and in some cases, downright unprofessional.
I did everything I was told, from cold calling dud leads to spending hundreds of dollars on marketing methods that were destined to fail from the start, to straight out asking people to join me.
None of it felt right and I was spending more money that I was making. But I was determined that with the right attitude and marketing education, I could have the success I was looking for.
And I knew that education was the key.
I took my search for an online marketing education to the most obvious place: online. The sheer amount of information out there about how to market online, make money online and become financially independent by doing these things is absolutely overwhelming. There are so many huge claims and promises of instant success.
What are you to believe? What is the truth?
Well, I discovered that a great deal of what you will read, about learning how to make money online is the truth. At least, it is a part of the truth.
At the end of the day, learning how to market online is a little like putting together a puzzle. There are lots of pieces and each is related to and dependent on the other. In order to complete the puzzle, you need to understand not only how, but also why it must be put together in a particular way.

When I found Carbon Copy Pro in December 2009, it was a refreshing change from the hyped up “biz opp” claims I had become used to seeing.
I realized that this was a company which would both teach me how and why the Internet marketing puzzle fits together, and a community which would support me in my learning.
Now I am learning about how search engine marketing works, and how to use Google to attract the people who are looking for what my business has to offer (no more cold calling bad leads!).
I am learning how to use Web 2.0 properties such as article marketing and press releases, and how to leverage the power of Social Media platforms such as Face Book, Twitter and You Tube.
I know enough about business to know that there is no “get rich quick” option. A free or easy ride simply does not exist.
My mum and I, we’re like best friends...we go everywhere together...
And I know that there is a lot of money to be made online for those who are willing to learn the skills, and put themselves into the market from a place of honesty and integrity. That is the only way to build a long-term business.
As you do your own research, beware the claims, which seem too good to be true, because that is what they usually are. Do your own due diligence, ask all of the right questions and before you proceed, make sure it feels like a good fit for you.
