5 Actionable Steps To Facebook Marketing That Works
Has Facebook benefited your online business in any way?
If you answered yes to the above question, this informative post is for you.
If you’ve not reaped any benefit from signing up as a Facebook user and creating your business page, you’re specially invited to reap through.
I promise to make the journey smooth, clear the stumps on your Facebook marketing path and give you a direct access to the real success-plan that’s proven to work.
1. Is Facebook For Everyone
If you don’t have a Facebook page, your friends would see you as nobody, lazy and “left-behind” kind of person. The world is changing at a faster pace and only the skilled would succeed.
Basically, I think Facebook is for every blogger, but definitely, not for everyone. If your business isn’t updated daily, I don’t think you need a page. However, it could help your business in years to come if you start getting likes now.
But the way people are taking this Facebook marketing is awful. Getting an account and creating your fan page doesn’t mean you’ll succeed. You need to learn how the entire chain of sharing works.
2. Create A Charming Facebook Page
Your page should be charming, beautiful and alluring to the readers. Social media users are moved by what they see. They don’t necessarily bother about the content until they’ve been impressed with the looks.
Don’t just put up a Facebook page and expect miracles to happen. If it’s quirky and lacks the “onion” of quick navigation, you would wonder why things aren’t working as you wanted.
There are cute Facebook page wallpapers and templates. Use the relevant ones and if you’ve the funds, hire the services of a graphics designer to craft a catchy logo and custom image. On my coupon blog that shares free mixbook discount coupon and snapfish.com discount codes, this strategy has helped me achieve significant success.
Have you visited any wine Fan page or Chocolates Fan page? Majority of them are very beautiful and that has generated over 5,000 unique fans. Isn’t that what you want?
3. Give Prospect Reason To Like You
Everyone wants to be followed and liked, but there is a price to pay.
That price is called “what’s in it for me.” Prospects are looking for a reason to click the “like” button on your Fan page. Fact is: they’re desperate for solutions and maybe you’ve the right substance they need.
But you must give them a reason to choose you instead of your next door neighbor. What motivates prospects to follow, tweet, share or like you depends on what they stand to gain.
You may not give them money, but reward their time. They should be satisfied for visiting your Facebook page and reading your headlines. Share the best information you can without withholding anything. Think abundance and share abundantly. It’s all they (fans & prospects) want from you.
4. Differentiate Between Facebook And LinkedIn
I got inspired to write this paragraph after reading a post from a famous blogger this week. There is a huge difference between all social networking sites. Facebook is different from Twitter and both are unique. LinkedIn is regarded as the business hub. It’s strictly for business.
We asked a question earlier “is facebook for everyone?” No one is going to prosecute you for neglecting a fan page or refusing to create one, but if you want to network with other entrepreneurs, you need to join LinkedIn and start adding contacts “you know.”
5. Socialize On Facebook Creatively
So, Facebook is more like a social club where you meet new friends and family. Users on this social site hate sales pitch or someone trying to sell them products. They prefer relationship first, before selling or recommending any product. So, start with that mindset and you would succeed.
On the other hand, you could specify what you do at LinkedIn outright. For instance, if you’re a Freelance Writer, make it plain and start contacting potential clients. They are all business people and understand where you’re coming from.
Facebook Marketing Takeaway
As the #1 social networking portals, you have the opportunity to grab a slice of the sumptuous pie and win the right prospects. But it begins with a change in your mindset.
Business people, who are desperate for quick bucks, may never succeed with facebook marketing. Take the easy path, connect and communicate effectively.
Share your best information and before you know it, targeted leads, high paying freelance projects and sales would start to roll in. Don’t give up too soon, you’ll make it if you stick around and dig deeper. See you at the top!

These are really wonderful tips!! Facebook pages are really effective when they are used in the right manner. As mentioned in the article, creating a page alone will not suffice, how well we promote our stuff through it, is what is important. Only because of this, I have always hesitated to start my own Facebook Page. Maybe I l do it sometime soon!
The right approach would yield results when using Facebook page. But it can be a total time waster when you don’t know how it works. Orchestrate your approach before creating a page. Think of ways to market your page. That’s what counts.
